Meet ZACHARIAH W. COLE, DMD, MD
Dr. Cole is a native of the Western Pennsylvania area. He attended Emory University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology in 2013. While studying at Emory, Dr. Cole was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society.
He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2017. After dental school, he began his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training program at Penn Medicine/University of Pennsylvania Health System. He graduated from Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania with his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2020 and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency in 2023. During his tenure at the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Cole received the Penn Dental Research Day AADR Travel Award. Dr. Cole also received the Delaware Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Award for Clinical Excellence.
While at Penn, he volunteered at Philadelphia Fight, providing dental care to low-income patients, and in the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine’s Annual Day of Service. He also enjoyed volunteering at Emmanuel Ministries preparing and serving meals to people experiencing food insecurity.
Dr. Cole is excited to practice in his wife’s hometown of St. Louis and serve the St. Louis community. In his free time, Dr. Cole enjoys spending time with his wife and young daughter, weightlifting, and outdoor activities.
