Oral Surgery Assistant / Dental Assistant
We are currently accepting resumes for a surgical assistant. This position requires a self-motivated, well organized, and compassionate individual. Must have good communication skills and work well on a team. Requires experience in chairside assisting, sterilization techniques, digital x-rays, instrument maintenance, and computer skills.  Must be willing to work at multiple office locations throughout central St. Louis County. Full time plus benefits. No nights or weekends. Paid holidays, medical / dental benefits, and retirement plan available.

Required experience: Dental Assisting – 1 year

Responsibilities:
• Experience with four-handed dentistry a must
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Take digital dental radiographs, and dental CT Scan
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with pre and post op instructions following all dental treatment procedures
• Electronic Medical Records
• Take impressions, pour and trim models
• Front office – insurance, appointments, patient check out

Education and Experience:
• Dental Assistant Certificate

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must possess excellent customer service skills
• Good oral and verbal communication skills
• Good organizational and self-motivational skills
• Sterilization process of instruments
• Detail oriented and good record keeping abilities
