Meet Dr. Grammer

Dr. Grammer is a native to the St. Louis area. She graduated from Mary Institute and St. Louis Country Day School in 2003. She attended Johns Hopkins University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Health Studies in 2007. While studying at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Grammer participated in research projects at the National Institutes of Health.

She attended Harvard School of Dental Medicine and completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2011. After dental school, she attended Harvard University/Massachusetts General Hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training program. She graduated from Harvard Medical School with Doctor of Medicine degree in 2014 and completed her Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency  in 2017. During her tenure at Harvard, Dr. Grammer authored several publications and book chapters, as well as presented her research at multiple national meetings.

Dr. Grammer brings excellent clinical knowledge and skills, as well as her warm,

compassionate communication and chair-side demeanor. She is native to the St. Louis

area and excited to return after her recent graduation from Massachusetts General

Hospital’s Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program. Throughout her

education, Dr. Grammer received numerous awards from leading institutions, including

the National Institute of Health, the Harvard Medical School, the American

Prosthodontic Society, and the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial

Surgeons. She has been involved in multiple research projects on oral pathology and

anesthesia outcomes, and has presented her studies’ results at numerous conferences,

meetings, and research seminars. Dr. Grammer has also authored and co-authored

multiple publications and monographs, as well as presented posters of her research. Her

training at Massachusetts General Hospital covered all aspects and facets of Oral &

Maxillofacial Surgery under the tutelage of leading educators in the country. Her case

load experience far exceeds what one experiences in OMFS residency and fellowship

programs combined — including cases in trauma, TMJ, orthognathics, obstructive sleep

apnea, pediatrics, oral pathology and reconstruction, dentoalveolar, and dental implant

surgery. After this long educational journey, Dr. Grammer is excited to practice in her

hometown and begin serving the St. Louis community.
